Jodie Lemons

Jodie Lemons is a fourth-generation firefighter and military service member who has dedicated over 25 years to serving others through a career spanning fire and EMS, military service, and federal law enforcement. Originally from New England, she was born and raised in Connecticut and now lives in Florida with her son, Caleb, and her service dog, Titus.
A proud U.S. Air Force and Army veteran, she also answered the call as a 9/11 first responder. Following injuries sustained in a training accident, she was medically retired as a disabled veteran. Her career included serving as a Senior Officer with the U.S. Department of Justice, Bureau of Prisons, where she worked in both custody and the Special Investigative Services (SIS) unit.

After years of answering the call for others, Jodie experienced first hand the need for a different kind of support - one rooted in community, nature, connection, and addressing the whole person: mind, body, and spirit.

She volunteered for over two years with the Warhorse Project until its closure, where she witnessed the profound impact of equine-based healing.  She later adopted two of the horses and continues to support the mission of serving those who have served.

Cindy Abrams is a a retired professional ballerina and instructor, now stepping into the next phase of her life. After years devoted to discipline, movement, and teaching, she was drawn to the ranch by the same values that shaped her life in dance — somatic awareness, connection, and deep listening. Here, through equine therapy, she continues her lifelong practice of supporting others as they reconnect with their bodies, their breath, and their inner wisdom, guided by the quiet strength of the horses. Cindy is especially grateful to support veterans, first responders, and their families — individuals who give so much of themselves to others. Here, alongside the horses, she hopes to help create a safe, grounding space for rest, reconnection, and renewal.
Currently certified in equine therapy.
